Like a rainbow bowing clear light
or as a voice anticipated from a darkness
emerges from it’s kingdom of silence
to speak glorious aberrations of the original Word:

A-man-blows-air-through-a-horn:
easy as a free wind roves through a still emptiness
uplifting autumn leaves
and lifting the bored, dull spirits up
to yell and laugh
dance before their dying is done
as the slab of Winter
sets upon the land
like a harsh word from God.

But, now
song flames and twirls
on top of the tomb.
