(Piano, arranger, 1909-83) Lloyd Colquitt Glenn Sr. was bom and raised in S; Antonio, Texas. He worked with several southwest territory bands before joining Don Albert in 1934 the role of pianist and chief arranger. He moved tc California in the early 1940s. Glenn became the prototype of the studio pianist-arranger for blues and R&B record dates while working on sessions for T-Bone Walker, Lowell Fulson and others. A fi blues and boogie-woogie pianist, Glenn recorded 1 instrumentals for Swingtime ('Old Time Shuffle B and'Chica Boo') in 1950-51.
